"So small and fast..." - Me, 2019

Parts:

Partlist:

  • Intel i7-8700
  • Nvidia GTX 1070Ti - Founders Edition
  • 16GB Crucial Ballistix Sport LT grau DDR4-2666
  • ROG STRIX H370-I GAMING
  • Corsair SF450
  • Cryorig C7
  • Dan A4

CPU:

I've chosen this Intel CPU for my build, because it's blazing fast and makes the installation of an Hackintosh-OS much easier. 12 threads are a good choice for VM's and fast compiling.

GPU:

The GTX1070Ti is nearly as fast as a GTX 1080 and comes with nearly the same amount of CUDA-Cores. An Nvidia-GPU is not the best choice for an Hackintosh, but I need CUDA for deep-learning.

Board:

The board comes with everything I needed. It supports USB-C, Digital-RGB, 2x Gigabit-LAN and Wifi/Bluetooth. I do not need the Z370 version, because the i7-8700 does not support overclocking.

Cooling:

The cooler looks nice, is well build and has a decent cooling-performance for it's formfactor. You can read more about it at the "Benchmark and Temps"-section of this article.

Case:

The Dan A4 is one of the smallest cases on the market. It's formfactor allows
me to carry my pc in my backpack. It's well build (Dan produces at LianLi's factory).

I think, the pictures speak for themself.
